The Google Home Mini is undoubtedly the smartest of the Smart Speakers. It taps into Google’s search capabilities making it a better choice for asking questions.

But, say “Ok Google” five times. Yeah, it has a terrible call name. And you can’t customize it, so you’re stuck saying “Ok Google” until there’s a better option. Saying “Alexa” is wayyyyyy easier. Wayyyy friendlier. And, in the end, way better.

I have both Echos and Google Home in every room. And I talk to Alexa for all of my home automation. And I only occasionally ask Google for help with a particular question that Alexa can’t answer.
